@Alabang 86, appreciate the reply.. at least i know where to go now and its somewhere nearer.. you must be referring to Pancho since he's usually the tuner for Autoplus.. not sure if he's also Francisco thou

btw, if i may ask, how are the numbers of your 86 with the SC?

@andrewFT86, i see, i thought Ecutek is like a piggyback system like Unichip.. since i dont have budget for FI yet, i'd probably just do minor mods.. IHE the least the reason i asked is that the car runs much better tuned especially when you've done IHE based on my experience in the Jazz so more or less i'll have the 86 tuned if ever i put mods to it

You can have the guys at Speedworks do the Ecutek tuning for you. They did a great job maximizing my IHE with their custom tune.
Here's a pic of my dyno:

It's an AT, so it gets a lower HP output than the MT. More details on my build page.

@Tye300, wow, thats 20whp down for the AT.. but for a 20whp gain with just headers and tuning seems pretty good actually.. thanks for sharing! will check out your build as well

Thanks bro. The guys at Speedworks do great work. They did a custom tune for me, not just a reflash. That way, you gain the max HP your mods can get you.

@Tye300,

As always, great updates on your car. Just some clarifications:

Your best baseline run with HKS Premium suction, Speedworks overpipe, Stivo frontpipe, and JDM TRD exhaust of 141.93hp/119.32wtq was done with no tune yet. Plus header and custom 2.5 inch resonated midpipe still no tune only added 3.51hp/1.49wtq (145.44whp/120.81wtq). The tune in conjuntion with ALL the IHE mods and not just the headers added 15.77whp/9.11wtq for a total of 19.28whp/10.6wtq gain. Is this correct? Thanks.

Great. What SC are you getting? I'm planning to get the innovate kit.

I'm going with either the HKS or Innovate if they already have the intercooled version.

I'm just back from a Alabang - Balayan - Alabang trip about 224km. Have to say, redline in 2nd to 3rd is something everyone reading this would love and enjoy..

the 210 rwhp is not enough to scare me but enough to scare the probincial trike.

love this car.

now working on eradicating the various vibrations, buzzzes and hums. lots to do.

What are the quirks of the kit? I read a lot about the Vortech kit's issues. Any issues to note about the innovate?
