http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/55...ack-Roads.html It's a much much longer drive and we might want to make it a full day event, see if we can get the rest of the Texas groups involved. I know a bunch of them haven't even run lime creek. http://goo.gl/maps/Nf2WR ![]() This is the google maps route that I came up with using that link as a guide, I figure we could start from the same walgreens (or the HEB across the street if the group gets big enough) and add in lime creek per your suggestion. Or we could skip up to 620 and have the meetup at the Oasis. It looks like there is a lot of opportunity to get some speed in the later route. Gotta find a good BBQ place in MF though. If we are going to be out in the Texas Country we need to have some real BBQ. |

Can someone recommend a place in Austin or San Marcos where I can get my Eibach Sportline springs installed? I've called about 10 places here in San Marcos but no one seems to feel comfortable installing them.

Rabble lets do it, I say make it at least a month or two down the road to get some notice so we can have a bigger crowd. We can run it in groups kinda like we did down at sisters if it gets big enough.

Apologies to the CBS BRZ that I almost pulled in front of on Parmer Ln this afternoon... I thought I saw a break in traffic to turn left, but you were obfuscated by a white car sitting in the oncoming direction's turn left lane. Thankfully our cars have decent brakes.

Any suggestions on a good Scion dealer parts/service department in the Austin area? At this point, just going to use them for the free service before it expires and maybe some OEM parts. For example, I want to grab a spare tow hook plug so I can drill a hole for a nice fit for a Grimmspeed plate bracket.
When looking into parts, I contacted Round Rock Scion regarding the 2014 head unit that's about $525 online - they wanted $760 + tax + $159 labor! So I was hoping some of you guys have had better experience with other parts/service departments locally. I don't want to pay $159 for a radio swap I could do over my lunch break! If not, I'll just use whoever is closest for my scheduled maintenance while it's still free and source parts from the intertubes but I would like to deal locally with real people if possible. Thanks! |

Champion turned into Auto Nation and I had a terrible buying experience there
. It took me about 3 hours to get a price on an FR-S and an appraisal on my car. And the guys didn't seem to know exactly what a FR-S was, except that they could order leather seats with orange stitching instead of red so it looked better in a Lava. I ended up going down the street to CarMax and saved a lot of $$$ by getting one with 4k miles and got $2k more for my trade.Of course, I might have just had bad luck that particular day. They wanted to knock $1000 off my trade because a red "BRAKE" light was lit on the dash. I drove my old car home and tried to find the fault. Staring me in the face was a bright red "BRAKE" light that I have seen every day for the past several years. Yes, the one that lights when your parking brake is on! ![]() If other people have had decent experience though, I will give their parts department a try with a few parts I'm pricing. Thanks for the input re: Maund also - they were my next one to look at. Quote:
