Yes, I did 'win'. The salesman at Woburn Scion kept up with the news and follows this forum so he was also excited about this, which was nice.

In case anyone is interested, if I do end up buying the car, the first order of business will be to develop a turbo kit with my fabricator/sponsor of my race team. I'll also try to find some wheel and tire sponsorships to figure out what size rubber we can fit in there.

I'll keep people posted and make my own threads once I acquire the car.

You may have had some not sign up for their car, so Scion went to the waitlist or the winners just haven't found their way to this website.

I was really hoping all of the 86 would be accounted for on here but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen

Congrats to all the winners...

We didn't win a First86 spot, but we do have our pick from the first regular allocation units at a local dealership.

Though, I assume there is still a chance we could get off the First86 waiting list and onto the winner's list between now and April.

edit: Forgot to mention, we've already had conversations with Whiteline, KW, Tein, Greddy (obviously), and AMR about products for the FR-S/BRZ...the aftermarket has been eagerly anticipating this car as much as the enthusiastic buyers have!

With enough carry over from the Impreza, it shouldn't take too long for the aftermarket to get on its feet.

Congrats! I'm regretting not picking asphalt, I'm sure I'll be happy with white though. Picking a car color without seeing it in person is just back-asswards.

Agreed. Color chips in real life would have been helpful. The more I think about it and the longer this goes on, the less I like anything about this First 86 promotion.

I'm hoping at some point we get a call from Scion asking us what kind of options we want in our cars. Since we are most likely the biggest enthusiasts of these cars, it's the least they can do I would say.
