hahaha, yes we both got the same intake on the same deal...but mine will not have the decals on the airbox.

as for heat the AZ air is so hot anyways mixed in with the temp of the engine bay i dont think it will really matter that much...would it?

I can't imagine the temps would be any different than those seen by the injen, hks, blitz, etc.

Could ceramic coat the inside like they do on motorcycle exhaust. Keep the look of the titanium.

Either way as you said it's too hot out here. The intake air temps before going into the motor are on the hot side. Intakes don't give a power increase really on this engine NA. It's more of a personal preference to buy one.

I heard Plastidip sells a cleaner for the white because it is impossible to keep clean otherwise, but white looks amazing.

Ha ha, yeah I hear ya. What do you think of using Android as a camera interface to begin with? If it's not 'better' than a traditional camera interface, then really no reason to spend that kind of money on it anyways I imagine... you could always get the 7D and use DSLR Controller and EyeFi for smart phone 'integration'.

Two things...First off, thank you for telling me about these because coming abck from Dyno weekend I am not sure how I didn't scrape paint with someone...it was that close. Scared the shit out of me and I don't get scared in cars when I'm behind the wheel.

Secondly, These are bought, inbound and blue which is a bonus for me and my car!

No way.. I'm from Hillsborough NJ, near New Brunswick (Rutgers) but I've spent almost every summer of my life on LBI. Small world.

Pretty much any color except black is hard to keep clean. That being said i did mine in white first to get a good base and it looked great with 3 coats on it and all i used was some normal wheel cleaner.
