I want you guys to hold that thought. My big increase in NVH might be due to a leaky crush gasket. I will know by the weekend, so my review might be inaccurate. Will let you guys know when all is confirmed.

My install took around 1.5 hours. That's with the car jacked up just high enough to fit my face under the car. Bring multiple size 12mm sockets with you under there. I love the part. Definitely worth it.

I feel for you guys with just a jack and stands! We are spoiled having lifts and cordless impacts.

This set from Harbor Freight made the install a lot easier too.

The Machinist fairy stopped by last night after I left the shop and dropped off a small hold me over batch! So we have plenty of these instock ready to ship out!

Ps I am working on a mold design for a ForcedFab urethane insert bushing that will work with or without our stiffeners!

Just finished the install! Shifting is less notchy but I didn't really notice any increase in NVH, might be because of my headers and exhaust but either way it's a good thing! Great part especially for the price.

I'll have to agree, my shifting is much less notchy (also have Kartboy rear shifter bushing). Rather than feeling like I'm running into a wall with my shifter feels more like I'm pulling it over a small, smooth bump. My NVH came in the form of noise - turn your radio off (because its barely noticeable) and you might hear more of a whine when accelerating.

Maybe with the insert they're developing (or one of your choice) you'll see more NVH - I'm pretty sure some people have reviewed other stiffener/insert combos and have had huge differences in NVH iirc. I'll have to look it up again.

I finally got around to installing mine while I was installing a different front pipe and down pipe for my header (P&L). I haven't driven the car yet because I'm working on an exhaust alignment issue. So I cannot comment on that. However, I did make a brief video of the install... Sorta. Sorry, I should of said bolt instead of nut in the video. Enjoy..

Finally got around to installing this part(been sitting on it for a couple of months). I must say i was skeptical as to how effective this mod would be. On an otherwise unmodified vehicle the improvement in shifting was quite noticeable! I'm very satisfied

Hi,
I just had my Mtec springs, kartboy tranny insert, Perrin shifter bushing, redline MTL into my BRZ and still have notchy shifts...it's frustrating to say the least. There is an improvement, not sure what did what. I do feel the Mtec spring snapping back to neutral faster.

Question I have for ForcedFab Jon is does the top of tranny mount stiffener come into contact with the transmission.. Would it help with the NVH if there was a 2mm layer of hard rubber to insulate the noise and vibration from tranny metal to stiffener metal contact? I wanted to give this tranny mount a try, but wanted to find out first from Jon if this made sense. I really hope this fixes my 1st to 2nd shifts.

I personally did not like the tranny mount stiffener. The did not like the added noise at all and honestly got to me after 2 days. As for shifter feel I was not that impressed and the notch was still there. Keep in mind that this is MY experience with the item some others may have better results. I have one here if anyone wants it.
