Sorry, I'm a newb. My frs is stock minus the borla catback and a drop in afe filter. If I'm not totally stupid and I understand right, the catted uel header will fit with zero modifications and create zero cel!?

I watched the videos, and your UEL header sure does sound badass. Better than other videos of the EL header I've watched.

Is there any performance advantage to UEL? Disadvantage? I always thought EL was what was best for performance.

In a few months I'm going to go with one of the turbo kits available (not sure which yet, but probably FB, FA20 or P&L) and I'm wondering if your UEL header will work with, say, the P&L turbo kit?

With the headers that are out now, there doesn't seem to be a clear advantage to going EL. UEL headers are making great gains too. There are more factors that go into a header's performance than a simple "is it EL or UEL". I'll let someone else more knowledgeable speak to that.

A turbo kit is made with it's own "header" called a turbo manifold. It is usually specific to the kit and doesn't work for other kits.

If I am not mistaken the only kit you could use this header with is the FA20club kit. That is why this header is turbo-compatible. It is designed for customers who want a header now, but may want the turbo kit later.

The other kits have different manifolds specific to their turbo to accomodate mounting location, clock, etc

Agreed for the most part.

I just want to clarify one thing, with the @ptuning turbo kit, you can use any header you wish (even the stock header). They designed their kit with that in mind. So someone who purchased a $800 header because they tried the NA route for a while wouldn't need to get rid of it because they decide to boost it.

So you can buy a FA20Club (or any other vendor) header to use with the PTUNING turbo kit.

yes correct but the same is to be said for our header anyone that has one of ours either EL or UEL can upgrade to our turbo kit for a 500-700 dollar discount bring the price as low as 2800.00 to move from NA to FI thats the best route option of all the kits out there. to date we have sold over 40 headers so those guys are all inline for an upgrade at a discounted rate in the future i call it a no brainer.

This is true. I'm not advocating for one over the other. The most important thing is the customer being informed.

@FA20Club.com any chance of hearing that UEL on the black car without cats? I keep going back and forth on whether to get a cat or not considering I've already deleted the secondary cats and am running the MachV muffler delete. Any option to add a cat after the initial sale if I decide its too much.

For the record I like the sound of the Griffon 86 that is obviously full catless, but its hard to get a real idea of how things sound in video.
