I also made some nice cheap battery tie downs as well but can post pics. I'm sure they will pop up on here soon enough

Good effort, but its mounted at too aggressive an angle of attack. That car WILL understeer like a pig if driven to the limit on a real track.

The term I would use is stupid or immature, not controversial

This actually serves a purpose. You know like ACTUAL DOWNFORCE as opposed to a park bench on the rear of that poor FRS

I don't see it any different the any other rocket bunny wing or other big wing.. When his wide body goes on it will look better.. And he did have it sloping like that on purpose.. I think it matches the curved line of the roof just about perfect.. It's... Just... Soooo... Big... Lol

Talk about doing it wrong.

Who throws a giant wing on a stock car? Build the car first, otherwise you're just gonna rice it over to 7-11 for a big gulp

I start with the cheapest parts and work up and 0$ was a good starting place. If I threw a wide body on first you all would flame over wheels. There is no medium in a build. You start somewhere and at the end it all comes together perfectly. Yes the ends were bent on purpose.

I think you hit the nail on the head here. No matter what you do, people will find something about it to bitch at. Everything anyone does is either too big, too small, too wide, too narrow, too low, too tall, too shiny, not shiny enough. You can't please everyone, there's no point in trying. I think it looks great. I wouldn't do it, mostly because I don't know how well the trunk would take the force imparted to it, and I wouldn't want a giant wing getting in the way of USING the trunk, since this car is my DD.

To the haters: You say the wing is too big and then post a picture of a car with an even bigger wing, but at the same time you say this FRS wing is too big to be useful? I suppose you think that dinky lip spoiler you put on the trunk is making useful downforce. This wing is actually nearly the perfect size for this car. The only real downside to this thing isn't it's size, but the balance. It'll need a fairly aggressive front splitter to counteract the lever force put on the rear of the car.
