Dammit... That's the exact wheel/spacer specs I run at the moment but with Work Kiwamis.

I'm buying these as a second set of wheels purely for drifting and wanted to go for a narrower wheel so it slides easier on stock power. Was kinda hoping these were 18/8.

Would of made things way easier if these came out with 5x114.3 from factory.

So the theme of your build is the more non-functional the better? The less grip the merrier? Crooked/Function? Fly with Marty McFly?

-14 camber is ok, but why not go for -90? (The Delorean looks like it went +90 degrees though...)

I am with you hating doing this to a good car but I accept it as an "art" form. If he has 35k+ to spend on a piece of art that is only used to display at shows and in his yard than let him spend it. Most of us can't afford to do that and it causes jealousy I guess. My problem is the people who cant afford a 35k piece of immovable art and do it anyway.

I'm not "hating", nor am I jealous. (seriously... jealous??) I've already put a good amount of money into my car for function/form, so again not an issue of "I can't afford, I'm jealous". I asked genuine questions, that is all.

IMHO it looks Fugly and want to know what is it behind it? Why is -14 camber good and not -20, etc. etc. What is the goal, make it as little functional as possible. All are genuine questions.

I wasnt saying you were jealous, like I said I hate it as well and I don't think I am jealous. Sorry if that came off wrong. What I am saying is I think there is no function, this car has stopped being a car. I imagine he sees it as a form of art and expression and not a mode of transportation.

IMO that is foolish and a waste of money but it's his bank account not mine. At least thats how I justify seeing things like this.

Ok, understood. Yeah, I mean he obviously likes it and is COMPLETELY free to do it. Again I am trying to understand if even one bit what is it trying to accomplish

@SLICVIC car is not the ONLY one on this thread, there are lots of beautiful cars on it. Let me remind you, this is a public forum, and looking at other beautiful cars I came across it.

He posted his car for the public to see it; he more than welcomes all opinions good or bad.

I think its just a generation gap thing. My generation had spinning rims and as many lights as you can throw on a car. This is what kids see as cool now and we are just getting too old to understand, it is a sad realization. Just like spinning rims it is a way to shout at the top of your lungs, I HAVE THE MONEY TO DO THIS TO MY CAR. Eventually these fads trickle down and get over done (we are almost at that point I think) and the next generation will have something else outrageous the old folks will hate.

the main goal is probably to run widest wheels, even at the cost of performance. Pretty much because i dont bring the car to any auto-x events, or any tracks, plus i dont daily the car. Oh and im not too fond of hacking up the quarter panels of brand new car so widebody was not an option (because of course that wouldve been your comeback)

from what ive seen from photos and videos via interwebs, its usually the older guys in japan running ONI Camber on their VIP builds. But if anything, i think a high performance build costs alot more money than what ive done to my car, so not sure where youre going with that unless youre just desperate for an insult? If youre not a fan , thats totally cool . But if you say cambered/stance cars are by "youngsters showing off how much money they have" im really not sure if thats true. Im sure the regular younger kid with money would rather go for the GTR with 900hp to show off he has money, but thats just my opinion

also car shows/blogs/brands like stance:nation and hellaflush only continue to grow so not sure if this "fad" is dying out but who knows

I wasn't going to comeback with anything, just wanted to know why. I don't care about widebody kits either. Thanks for the explanation. Honestly first time I've read a why.

Sorry for this posts mistakes, I'm on the phone!
