Seriously though... it's a bit of a bummer. Dealership claims new SPT catalog should be out next month, and STi springs are almost guaranteed to be there. So that WILL be ok with warranty, as long as it comes through the SPT catalog.

We'll see...

I will not be touching the engine until that warranty is up. I'm actually a little disappointed with how different the car feels with the larger (and lighter) wheels and much stickier/wider tires on it. There is a noticeable difference in acceleration from the stock tires which barely contacted the ground.

What tires and size wheels did you get? People have said 18s or 19s make the car worse off, it grips but it exacerbates a power issue.

Hmm. I wonder what would happen if you asked them to install TRD parts, Still under warranty?

I would be interested to see where in the aftermarket warranty it said it has to be more often, or if it was just something they dealer added on.

Very odd, keep us updated. I would be interested to see how this all works out.
Hmm, some people said doing an oil change at 1000 miles after break in helped, in fact most of them apparently found the metal shavings from the break in process then, returned to normal service intervals at 7500 (unrelated to what you're saying). I bet in this case the dealer wants your money for profit.

Most Toyotas have a service check-off pdf in on the main Toyota website to keep track and show proof of DIY service, has anyone found one for the FR-S?

Good thread, thanks for the info.

By the way, if I just change out the exhaust (just the back portion, not the entire system) with let's say this, WORKS Axle Back Muffler, will that void my factory warranty?

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Did they ever release the catalog?
