Exactly what I was thinking!! Either way, a lot of people here have been waiting for years for this car, Im sure they can keep few more weeks after the first86 had been released...

Either way, car depreciates as soon as u drive it off the lot. No one in their right mind would buy it for more than a New car.

I had my deposit down back in early december, when scion called me about the first 86 i was like, yup already paid that, lol the dealer had zero info on the car but i told them i want to put money down regardless, haha they thought i was nuts....maybe i am lol

LOL! You've seen too many articles talking about the launches of the Audi R8, GT-R, AMV8, etc...
They are going to pump out a shedload of units and anyone who wants a 2013 model year version will be able to get one going the normal deposit/order at dealer route. Sure not everyone will get a car on D-day - whenever that is - but they'll get it Don't kid yourself into thinking you're some kinda autospeculator.

Why are people hating on you? What if you get the car and you don't like it? Maybe you want a BRZ? If somebody is dumb enough to pay more that what you paid for it. So be it! Haha!

Also we don't know if these first 86 won't have something special in them to make them more valuable.

Yeah I was also planning on selling it if I won, or at least considering it. I'm sure there are a few rich people out there who would think nothing of dropping a few grand over msrp to get this car before anyone else.

Count me in the same boat. I really doubt that anyone is willing to do so, but, hey if a lucrative offers comes my way, count me in. It's no one's business what I do with my car.

And yes trust me I really can't wait for this car to come out. But really I wanted the brz. Coming from a tsx I want the options from the brz. Don't get me wrong, I do like the frs but since I was chosen I thought why not test drive it and see if I like it and if not then I know theres ppl out there that would spend a few more just to get it earlier and to be sure that they will get it. It might even help out someone that really wants it can actually have the opportunity to buy it rather then wishing to be picked from the waiting list and what if the whole rumor that these c,ars will be limited is true??
