I guess you have to like the style... but I'm all about Varis' ultra aggressive kits. They *are* functional... it's not just for looks you do realize?

If you're happy with stock body or a lip kit, then go for it but I love this thing! It's even better in person.

i'm wondering the same thing myself for my DGM - clear vs. red. i like the contrast you can see in the clear version, and the clear version isn't as common as all-red tails. the all red tom's looks good, but look a lot like many other all-red tails out there right now. the OEM tail is more distinctive, but i'm not fond of the chrome. i actually like the ring of LEDs.

the vents on the back of the varis look a lot like gills to me.

Totally! The round tail lights are definitely a classic design touch. People forget that sometimes.

I know I could go for the black ones for "exclusivity" but I'm aiming for a build that the random person on the street can appreciate. I just can't decide which would look best.

If you've got a DGM, it might be best with the reds. People might think you would have 3 different kind of black colors on the back of your car. The lower bumper, the black Toms tails, and then you know you're gonna get a couple people that think your car is actually black too. You might find better differentiation with the red Toms.
