So technically it was Saturday, but I took him out for our first track day

I was the only twin, and my BRZ and my boyfriend's Miata were the two slowest cars there, which really surprised us. Everyone else was in Corvettes, Mustangs, and BMW 3&5 series.

Properly smoked out my tails. Used to be in the auto body business and was able to get in the shop and do this finally. Sanded, smoked, cleared, and then buffed them to a nice shine. Should be good to wax in about a few days. Small but awesome upgrade in the rear.

I got a speeding ticket Sunday in NC. I have not had a ticket in over seven years. It was for 70 in a 55. I am so used to the 70mph speed limit here in Florida, that I just did not realize, until too late, that I was in a 55mph zone.

Seems like many of the highways in NC are 55. Sucks...I guess I'll have to pay ticket and then sign up for a drivers improvement course to try and minimize points on insurance, unless someone has a better suggestion.

Traffic school. It'll be costly but you'll get 0 points on your insurance. Could be worth it in the long run. But since you said you haven't gotten anything in 7 years, insurance shouldn't be too bad and they shouldn't care or raise it much if at all.

I feel for you...speeding tickets are an industry in our fair state, and I'm used to seeing the interstate speed limit go from 55 to 65 to 70 and back to 55 within a 20 mile stretch at times...ridiculous, but effective unfortunately.

I got a ticket on a road recently that was changed to 45. It was 55/60, depending on which part you're on, the entire time I spent growing up here, but I guess they changed it to 45 everywhere. I think that will be #5 (the lifetime limit) on traffic school. Maybe #4, but I'm not sure.

Today I installed my rear "oem" diffuser from Advan-Emotion. It fits well and I like the way it looks with my new Perrin Exhaust! Totally worth the $75 shipped!

I went for a partial debadge for the rear by removing the 'Subaru' emblem. I'm trying to aim for that JDM look.
