Insurance should take car of it. I had friend get his laptop stolen from his car. Luckily we're in IT, so we ended up logging in to stolen laptop and screenshot a couple thing we found interesting. We ended getting useful info of the thief (address, Name, photo, FB page)

What did the cops do? Threatened him, and told him to stop "hacking" other peoples information.
