18x9.5 wheels

Just bought 18x9.5 wheels - plan is to lower the car eventually but for now, it will stay stock height (lowering with coils)

Can anyone guide me regarding the need to roll fenders + any camber adjustments necessary to remain at a good alignment? (relative term)

Also, will I definitely clear front strut on stock suspension? I know on coils I will be fine.

Finally, what are some good tyre recommendations (aspect ratio + width); looking to run 245s but may suffer some a bit too much stretch? My reluctancy to go to 255 is two fold - unnecessarily wide for street driving + added weight and the possibility of not clearing front struts with stock suspension?

Thanks!

I ran 18X9.5 on stock suspension with 245/35's for a bit while I waited on my coilovers to come in. Clearance is about | | to the front spring, literally, but can be done. 255 will rub in front for sure. 245's aren't very much stretch at all on 9.5's. If any, it's very little.

I recommend planning on coilovers though. Made a massive difference in my handling for me even after dropping.

Edit: Figured I should add my offset and its +38

Whats the offset on your wheels?

i run 18x9.5 +29 front, on coilovers, no fender mods, but close to front fender. Im also running 225/40.

Once you lower you will get natural camber. More natural camber depending on how low you go.

Cant comment on stock suspension

Im at +34 offset. I know +38 is EXTREMELY close but I would imagine you are limited in tyre selection for anything in the 9.5 range. If you're close on coilovers with +29, fender work may be necessary but what I can't really change is the space to the strut - any idea on how much clearance you have? I can always roll and pull fenders but I can't imagine I'd need to

I'm set on coilovers for several reasons but for reference, what offset were you?
