You win some or lose some with the replica parts. Luckily my diffuser was more Matte than gloss to it matched up nicely, looks identical to OEM color. Urethane is nice because it is harder to break than ABS, on the flip side, when shipped it warps because of its malleable property. Luckily as you stated, the sun fixed it mostly.

I just thought it looked like my antenna was shorter
I wanted the antenna to be less noticeable so my options were this shorty or a sharkfin. I chose the far cheaper option. That said, it doesn't look exactly like I thought it would and I'll probably end up with a sharkfin at some point. Lesson learned.

Also, today I also installed a 2.5" Perrin resonated cat-back exhaust system from CZP. Mike at CZP gave me a great price and I'm really happy with the way it looks and sounds!

I feel the shorty is the way to go. I also have the Perrin 2". The sharkfins for the BRZ Limited are comically large proportioned in relation to the rest of the car. It just looks off.

this.

edit: I wonder if there's a flush cover. I'd choose that over a beatsonic for my BRZ.

The gloss can easily be fixed. The color means paint. On my car (very late production 2013) the bumper is more like a very dark grey. The diffuser is black.

Sorry, I realized my comment came across kind of snotty and harsh! Didn't mean it that way. I was trying to be more comical.

I wasn't for the shark fin at first because of it's size, but once I saw it in person I was sold.

Honestly, I started looking into getting a LONGER antenna because I wanted to completely embrace the RC-look! haha Maybe put a bumper sticker on the back that said, "Controlled by the hand of God!" or something, I dunno. hahaha

Eventually I plan on swapping my stereo for something that doesn't require GPS, so then I'll remove the antenna and have the hole filled and painted. Ultimate antenna delete!

Beatsonic sells one specifically for the BRZ. FDA43 is the product code. Don't get the FRS one as it's too small.

scraped the underside of the corner of my bumper on a curb while parking in a tight spot and trying to get far enough over to avoid car doors... Not too bad though.

For those of you who don't want the really short antenna, there are options.. I went with a slightly larger 2.5" one, but you can get 3" or 4":
Example:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Black-Shor...item35caafbff2

I was just not feeling the shark fin antennas on this car, but that is just me. It is nice to have options
