Owner since January '13

I’m Cool BReeZe located in Austin, Texas.

I was introduced to the forum by a member who recently received his car and contacted me through a different forum regarding the "plug-in" armrest that I replaced with a folding unit.

I took delivery of my CBS BRZ Limited 6MT in January of this year and have about 3,000 miles on the odometer.

Modifications thus far have been cosmetic in nature; LEDs to replace most of the incandescent lights, a folding armrest cover ordered from England, clear bra material covering the entire front end (nose, hood, fenders, and mirrors) and professional paint correction followed by an application of cQuartz Finest.

I’m a sports car owner and driver from way back. I drove MGs and Triumphs during my teens and early 20s, later switching to 240Z Datsuns and Mazda RX-7s.

In addition to the BRZ, I currently own a 2011 Mazda Miata Power Retractible Hardtop and recently sold my ‘05 MazdaSpeed Miata with the factory turbo and a number of performance parts. That was the car that I raced at the local club track.

I also have two "practical" vehicles: a hatchback grocery-getter and small SUV.

As I do with local Miata Club members, I look forward to making group drives with forum members in the hill country around Austin and San Antonio. My solo drives thus far (along with one Miata Club run I made in the BRZ) have been a blast.

I'm also looking forward to exchanging information about the good and need-to-improve aspects of our cars.

As for now ... time to get out and drive!
