AWDtuning is in Flowermound and they are more then capable of tuning a car with this setup. Keith is one of the best tuners in Texas and hes not far from Arlington at all.

@ptuning What are you guys planning for the PCV system? Would you recommend vented to atmosphere, or sealed, if anything?

We're retaining the factory PCV for now. We'll likely add a boost friendly check valve in line too. All of our blow-thru turbo kits simply vent the crank breather through a separate K&N mini filter. On a healthy engine, you will not get any oil or smoke coming out of the filter.

We'll engineer our own catch can system shortly. Our 400whp tune only used a spring clamp on the PCV and EVAP hose. We usually vent our catch cans to atmosphere, but we may also test having it connected to our intake pipe as well.

For those that have pre-ordered or are looking to order our turbo system, here are some more teaser pics of a few more production pieces.

We're just showing you guys the final products, not the many iterations that we may have gone through to make things perfect for this turbo system. We've had two CAD stations going non-stop during work hours for the past 3 months.

All parts are laser-cut, CNC formed, and are either powder coated lightweight aluminum or T304 stainless steel. Whenever possible, we use PEM's inserts too for easier installation of components.

Furthermore, for those that don't already know, ALL of our turbo and exhaust system components, actually all products in general, are made right here is the USA.

Now onto the pics:

Thick gauge T304 SS turbo support brackets prior to welding:

T304 SS Tial turbine housing heat shield:

Thick gauge T304 under tray support bracket:

We're still waiting on our production two-piece welded and powdercoated aluminum air intake shroud, but here is the aluminum shroud support bracket:

Powder coated aluminum oil scavenging pump bracket:

Just spent a couple hours reading this thread beginning to end. Everything looks absolutely amazing. I don't think I could even consider another company after seeing step by step everything you have done throughout the entire R&D and production process. Transparency and honesty go a long way. Should I bite the bullet and go FI (and manage to put away that much $) I would not give my business to anyone else. I can see how you get your outstanding reputation. Thanks and keep up the hard work! Hope to work with you soon!

I was hoping this turbo would work for us Cali people. Keeping the stock headers is what intrigued me at first but then I realized that the front/over pipe isnt stock so there isnt the 2nd cat which is needed for CARB.

Wish someone could make a kit like this that would work with both stock cats. Sucks because you need to retain both cats to have Carb exempt and most turbo kits use there own header. My dream would be to have a turbo like this that uses the OEM air box but it seems like for turbos you need to either have it attatched to headers or the front / over pipe from what I seen from all the turbo kits available. Us Californians get screwed for everything here.

Here's an example of the design and engineering that goes into every PTUNING product. This is why it has taken so long for us to complete our FR-S/BRZ WMI System. We've literally taken hundreds of different measurements and have gone through multiple physical prototype designs to come up with a final design that is simple to install, simple to access, and ultra clean looking.

First three designs concepts:

Final design concept. Includes an integrated power and control module unit along with a billet aluminum mini battery tray holder:
