How much is the autox event and do you need anything special for the car?

No, you do not need anything special at all. Empty as much out of the car as you can before you arrive. You'll have to remove all loose items before your runs, so the less you have the better. Being plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat and sunglasses.

SCCA Members

Registering At Event: $30

Registering At Event: $40

Time Only: $10 in addition to a competition entry

As Redleader posted, empty the car of any loose crap. If you have a helmet, bring it, and if you don't, there are loaners on site. Get there shortly after the gates open to give yourself plenty of time for the course walk.

Here is a walk through video of the registration/tech process of the Phoenix club, Tucson is a tad different, but the video still applies

@BugeyedWagon @Kst092 or anyone else if you are interested here is details for Metro Meltdown.

Saturday 8/24/13 5-10 PM
Metrocenter Mall, Phoenix, AZ South Lot
9617 N Metro pParkway W, Ste. 1001
Phoenix, AZ 85051

3 awards given out, best import, best domestic, best truck

Vendors look like they will be there. Only 400 cars are allowed into the Main lot with a nominal donation (cash only). All others can park in general parking and walk over. It looks like there will be music, food/drink, jumbotron, etc.

I may go after the Dyno Day or maybe its something we can go over as a group to go check out. No idea what time Dyno Day will be going until. @nelsmar any thoughts?

There is also a meet earlier in the day at the firebird skid pad I believe. However, I will be at the dyno day anyways.
