If someone is seriously considering trading a twin in for something else, and has a manual... PM me.

I'm kinda looking to trade my auto in for a manual. Got it a in July, love it to death, just kinda wishing I had the manual.

Plus trade in might be a little higher. *nudge*nudge* lol lemme know!

Are any of y'all out near Harrison twp? I never see anyone out here lol

You guys are all crazy! I've found this car to be more versatile and livable than I ever imagined it would be. Heck, I've even had a push mower in the back lol. Last weekend I drove 4+ hours to a track pulling 2 bikes and averaged 28 mpg. Pretty awesome considering I used to get 12-14 mpg getting bikes to the track with my truck.

But on the other hand I don't have kids/babies to transport. I guess that could be a game changer.

All this talk of everyone selling their cars is making me all depressed! Who needs practicality! If the kids don't fit in the back seats, that's what the trunk is for!

Haha I knew I'd be trading practicality when getting this car but I thought I'd be getting more for it(performance). They should of made it a little bit bigger and with a hatch as tame as it is lol.

Well, it's not like we are hurting for family friendly commuters when needed, I think I'm just going through autocross withdrawals this year. Now that we are already half way through august and the summer is coming to a close soon, I'm realizing the BRZ will be relegated back to the garage soon We'll see how the Volt does this winter as well before I need to make a decision if the BRZ will stay or not.

Jeez, it's depressing. I find that my BRZ is more enjoyable as DD than my STI. I picked up the latter for rainy/snowy weather though.
How does one have to drive a WRX to get only 2-3 mpg less than FR-S/BRZ? In my spec.b and in my STI I'm never above 20mpg on average. In my BRZ I'm over 25mph lifetime average and I rev the crap out of it.

On a positive note, I'm probably 1.2k miles since my last HPFP replacement and still quiet (knock on wood). I might still sell it next year simply because I typically get bored with cars in two years, but as of now I still find it quite enjoyable.

I looked up old AE86s so I'm liking my car a lot more now just wish it had more guts.

Spec.b is about the same though, and, personally, in a BRZ I'm way ahead of the mileage I was getting in that car.

I feel like everyone has similar complaints and from someone taking the plunge and switching, I wouldn't go back. I loved the car and its driving mechanics but there are so many knocks on the DD list that it wasn't for me. No room for passengers, having to red line the car to beat a dam Camry at a stoplight, rough ride (great for cornering but I don't have a ton of apex's on the way to work and the wife didn't like it on long trips), and lack of interior quality (I am talking even with the BRZ limited).

The new car has oodles more power and I don't have to beat on the car to get up to highway speed or go fast. It is very sporty and honestly stock to stock it handles better and puts out better lap times then the twins. Part of this because of the power but the other is the goodyear eagle F1's that come stock and the great job Ford did on the stability control system. The ride is smooth and I drove my wife and another couple to dinner, all in one car! The twins are great cars but I think they aren't for everyone and I feel I have upgraded in everyway, except for RWD.

Probably in the next year or two 50% of the people on here will be driving different cars from the twins. This isn't sad its exciting, what we have formed here is a group of car guys who can meet up and enjoy each other's company no matter what car we drive. The best part for me is as you guys buy new cars I can check them out!
