I'll just have to re-torque it one day when it's cool..maybe check the 02s. It's not a good noise.

They only come with it when bought from us.

Re torque when you get a chance, but may just be the thin walls. Again hard to say without me hearing it first hand.

Extremely fast shipping too, I must say!

The sound bounces off of all the other cars and houses I'm near. I definitely will try to re-torque it. I hope that's all I have to do.

I used multi-layer ej gaskets on the head and I am convinced its leaking somewhere due to the sound as well.....
Changed all my gaskets again tonight after not being able to find a leak with the soap/water mixture.....
Its driving me nuts.
I think it might be the metal gaskets in the collector and overpipe buzzing ....

The gaskets I used were multi-layer as well. The actual seal seems to be made the same as the stock gasket, though.

I've had leaks on other vehicles in the past...it does not sound like that. I bet we have the same problem. I'm going to drive it like this a few days and see if I can find a carbon/leaky spot anywhere.

I had my manager rev my car today while I crawled down to listen. It does not sound like it's coming from the header but instead the header seems to make a resonance in the front pipe. The sound is coming from around the transmission area from the pipe. I'm going to wrap my front pipe to see if that kills the sound. If all else fails I will put my stock front pipe on a car.

Wrapping exhaust piping will not do anything to muffle sound significantly, please don't waste your time. Wrapping also voids the warranty of some companies' exhaust products (JDL I know, there are surely others). You need a catted or resonated front pipe.

There are a lot of bad headers from borla on the market being sold second hand.. Borla never asked for them back.... I would never buy them used.. I know four people that received the warped headers got the new ones in the mail and sold locally the warped one... Two of them did take belt sanders to the flanges and flaten them.. But still.. I wouldn't buy second hand..
