I guess the brushless water jet washers are the best that most of us can do.

How do people transport the bucket of water in their cars? I'd be worried about splashing everything in my car. And will two buckets even fit in this thing? I'd spill all the water in my car by just trying to leave my parking complex
haha, this is easy. I don't carry buckets of water. I go to home depot or the grocery store and buy gallon jugs of distilled water. It's .98 for a gallon. I always leave two gallons in my trunk. Carry empty buckets.

THIS.

Or you can grab a 32+oz spray bottle for QD to make room in one of the gallon jugs(this will make sense in a second), cut an opening at the top to throw in the towels and ONR, then you're good to go.

Hm... good idea. Now I just gotta find some place that has no parking meters and where people wouldn't throw a hissy fit if I was just splashing dirty water everywhere.

I find parking lots for large chain stores work well. Park in far off corner, no one will bother you.

Pro-tip: Wash in the shade.

Luckily my older brother lives 10 minutes away. Paved driveway, plenty of shade too. He doesn't have a car either, so the driveway is always open.

I live in an apartment also, and have been using the Chemical Guys spray wash. Works pretty well, but you need to use alot of microfiber towels. I will have to take it to a hand wash at some point though.... hope i don't get the fishtank tailights

@redwing634

Research and learn how to do a rinseless wash. I live in an apartment complex as well and rarely even have to move my car to do it. Fill your two buckets up, go downstairs, do your thing, wring the towels out on nearby grass and you're golden.

Gotta find a large chain store that has a parking lot, lol. Living in a big city has its advantages, but this is definitely not one of them.

I go to my mum in law's house, about a two minute drive away, but otherwise I did a coat of rejex and keep quick detailer in the car for touch ups.

I drive to a nearby football pitch and get water from the washroom.

I take mine to the AutoSpa near where I live the you sit and ride thru types of car washes.

And I usually dry it down and apply the tire shine etc. Then wipe it down again. A good 10 minutes or so. I'd rather just wash it myself but when you live in the city and in an apartment complex its just not feasible ):

I usually do this twice a month and its about 7-9 dollars depending. You really save alot when you dry it down and apply all the extras yourself.
