I recently bought a BRZ, but I don't prefer the mouthpiece front bumper.
One thing I haven't seen yet is anyone trying to delete the mouthpiece with a crash bar replacement. I'm planning on fabricating a nerf bar/crash bar replacement, something that replaces the under-bumper crash bar with a piece of round bar that is welded to the crash bar mounts. This i hope will allow me to eliminate the mouthpiece and replace it with a cool looking round bar that retains the "crashability". I think the shape of the BRZ bumper opening would look very cool without the mouthpiece, and it would be very unique, as no one has this yet. Something other than buy-and-bolt-on, and more towards custom fabbed. I doubt it would cost very much. |

Do you have any pics resembling your proposal? I am keen to see what it may look like.

I don't believe they had replaced the crashbar with anything -- I don't see any particular reason to. But they had painted the crash bar flat black, and you couldn't really see it without getting up close. The next step would be to simply get one of the custom grill makers to make you something that replaced the lower grill with a larger one that covered the enlarged opening. It would look totally OEM. |

What the fuq just happened the last couple of pages? I suppose it was inevitable that the ***g0ts from Honda-tech would find their way over to this forum and throw b1tch fits.

Re: FRS 10 Series vs. BRZ Limited
Well, you can get the BRZ in any color you want except orange and the FRS 10 only comes in one color... |
