Forced Air Technologies located in the Phoenix/Tempe area. I can order parts, we have a full shop, dyno facility, and so on from maintenance to full on build a race car, and locally support the group!

just spent the last hour glued to speedhunters, it makes my heart all fuzzy when I see the RC86 (basically FR-S) used for all those beautiful [race] cars, makes my JDM GT86 (BRZ-Limited) envy subside just enough to forget about smart key/push button - temporarily.

Also inspires the $#@& out of me

No idea... guess it was actually early June when I ordered, and even got a shipping confirmation. No tracking though, so not sure where it ended up. Address on the shipping confirmation is accurate. Was only $7 so I pretty much forgot about it, heh

I can't decide between 18 or 17 inch rims. I'm dropping my car about 1-1.2 Inches which I figure will clean up the wheel gap nice and 17s would save me money as i wouldn't have to buy new tires but the 18s would look better. Does anyone know if you need an alignment if you stay with 17 inch tires and just switch the rims?

That's a 40 minute drive for me. I guess I could make it work on a weekend

You will need that alignment after you drop your car.

But if you plan to get new wheels just get the alignment when you buy the new wheels after the drop. That way you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and the alignment will be for your specific set up.

Firestone on baseline and rural. In ground brand new alignment station. Doesnt matter how low you are as it just drives right in and then lifts up. Buy the lifetime alignments for 160 bucks. Well worth the money.

I planned on an alignment once I dropped it, but if I have to wait a couple months to get new wheels will I have to align it again even if I keep the stock tires?

It's a common misconception that alignment is affected by tires. Your alignment shouldn't change no matter what wheel and tire combo you put on later.

So I would only need an alignment after the springs? Thanks!

How did you find the FRS?BRZ videos? I've done a few searches and have found nothing?
