Anyone want to buy my status racing seat, rails and planted Hard mount with hardware? $550 I am sick of looking at the box and could use the money for parts for my ST.

Also still have RCE yellows, $250 BNIB with front crash bolts (camber bolts).

anyone know of any shops that can do a full hid retrofit? I have the hardware but I've never baked headlights open before so thats a little intimidating. If not I guess I'll just take the time and do it on the weekend.

It's not that hard to do yourself, especially if you follow the DIY article on the forums. It was a bit intimidating to put a pair of brand new headlights in the oven for the first time, but they turned out great and it was fairly easy to crack them open and seal back up. The most time consuming part is taking off the front bumper. Budget out half the day and you should be fine.

Thanks for the vote of confidence ill probably do it in a couple of weeks. My wife wants to start the backsplash for the kitchen before I do have anything else.

Also do you guys think I should black out the headlights? Well minus the hi beam section

I like the black out look, but I did the entire headlight since I have LED DRLs. The HID+LED DRL+LED Strip+LED Switchback provides enough forward light for me. It is never going to make up for the lack of hi-beam, but I was willing to make the trade off. Regardless of what black out you go with, make sure you black out the turn signals as well or else it just looks unfinished. They bake open in a similar manner.

To the driver of the Hot Lava FRS cutting people off while weaving in and out of traffic yesterday around 4:50 near 1604 and Braun. I'd like to commend you on your excellent racer skills and note how awesome you are diving into the turn only lane for Cavender Buick so you can bypass traffic and get into the expanding right lane.

Congrats, you cut off a lady in a black Ford Fusion and another lady in a red Corolla hit her back end when the Fusion hit the brakes. I watched it happen a few car lengths in front and passed them as they both turned into the gas station together.

Way to make our cars look like they are driven by a bunch of asshats with no regard to the safety of others. Note this wasn't alderaan34 as the guy had stock rims.

Thanks for clearing me I was writing my defense. oddly enough I was around 1604 and culebra last night meeting someone but I try not to drive like an asshat. I think every enthusiats group has drivers that give us a bad name. Worst part is that person is probably not even on the forums. I think my aftermarket tails would be a dead give away as well as the rims.

On another note, whats the best way to fix a rock chip on the hood, I'm just being anal about my paint the rock chip can't be more than a milimiter in diameter, but I saw it while I was washing and waxing my car on sunday and its been bugging me ever since.

Get a touch-up paint kit from the dealer. it's got base coat and clear coat. the "best" way probably requires a lot of work like sanding the tiny area, doing multiple clear coats, then sanding the area again before compounding and buffing it to a high gloss shine. You won't be able to tell there was a chip there at all.

I just fill the chips with base and clear and call it a day.

I doubt the guy is on the forums either. This is just a reality as more and more of these cars hit the streets. As a matter o fact, the last three 86's I've seen around town (with the exception of this guy) had temp tags on.

I second the dealer touch up paint. However, very gently dab it in the rock chip. I learned the hard way on another car that a little goes a long way with those little brushes.

thanks for the tips on the touch up paint guys, I'll probably stop by my dealership next week and pick some paint up.

Yeah I've been seeing a lot more of our cars on the streets, its a double-edged sword really, If they sell well then they'll stay in production longer, but we'll have more d-bags and ricer kids getting them, but if they don't then they'll go the way of the all the previous toyotas that were niche cars.
