Thanks for the tips. I've read horror stories of people installing these, then others have no trouble at all. I'll see how it goes tomorrow when I install them!

Mmm nothing much to report for me. Got new Rexspeed convex side mirrors, Toyota badges and JPM Coachworks alcantara shift boot...feels so nice.

Anyone considering switching/trading up to the BRZ Sti when it drops?

I'm kind of pissed because i thought there was no talk of an STI when i ordered mine

Looking for a new exhaust system, and I honestly am giving myself a headache! There are so many! Originally i wanted to go with Perrin, now im leaning more towards Accelerated Performance... (personally the perrin and greddy sound way too much like a buzzy/tunny noise that i want to get away from)

Kind of want the antenna to be as smooth as possible, i personally think the shark fin is too big...

I will be in 2015, no point for 2014 as there is zero power increase. Wait until 2015 if you want more power, plus you can enjoy your BRZ for another couple years with no regrets

If you don't currently own an FR-S or BRZ, I would say go for it!


Your right on the exhaust options, lot's too choose from. Just find one you like the sound of and is decent quality.

I went with the AFe catback just because of how it sounded, it wasn't a cosmetic decision for me

I also have the Beat Sonic Shark Fin antenna, looks and works great! I previously had the Perrin Shorty antenna which was also very nice!

Is there not a brand that has a matte black option for exhaust? I thought i had seen that somewhere

I saw headers in matte black, probably exhaust out there also. Not too sure...
