running fully independent suspension

Is anyone or has anyone experimented with running without the front and rear stabilizing bars? If so what spring rates have you tried? how snappy does the car get under aggresive or track conditions? What shocks are you using to compensate and how are the tires holding up to the load changes?

no sways is a common mx5 debate for gaining grip without rediculous camber or tire width. i'm hoping at least one person has considered or tried it. i haven't.

I believe @robispec runs his race car without a rear stabiliser to get more droop. But he is the only person I have read about doing this on here.

For a dedicated track car you can make it work without a rear bar. Spring rates will get a bit stiff and there are drawbacks.

I wouldn't bother running without a front bar for sure.

Phil @ Element Tuning ran his Time Attack car with no rear bar as well. Also for droop and found when running over curbing the LSD wasn't working as well. I think he is running 12K springs.

People have also tried it in autocross but not real successfully. Front strut suspension definitely wouldn't run without a front bar.
