We are working on trying to make a billet aluminum tensioner pulley to be lighter then the factory plastic. Easier said then done when the plastic tensioner pulley is already very light and has a tons of small ribbed gussets!

I'm working on it!

They do not whistle or make any additional noise.

Sounds good. I suppose you take the final weight of each one of them, right?

Still waiting patiently!!!

Is it much more easier to rev the engine?

Yes. It isn't very noticeable during acceleration but it does become very apparent when rev matching downshifts. Free revs quicker and makes it smoother/easier to match RPMs. You can also feel a considerable difference in smoothness when slowly starting out in 1st (normal driving).

You will however notice a slight whine from 3-4k rpm, but nothing that other LCP's don't experience. Not sure if it's the air moving past the pulley or the belt wearing into the new pulley.. Either way it's nothing to worry about. Overall I am very happy with it. Fit was perfect and installation only takes about 10-15 min. The crank pulley seems to be one of the better mods per dollar (in terms of feel) next to the trans support bushing.

Today I installed Racesengs full pulley kit. Everything fit perfect and no dramas.
So benefits agains of less rotational mass and oh yes they look great.

Didnt notice any noise at all on mine to be honest and well I'm damned picky about that kind of stuff drive around for half hour after install with radio off etc to really pay attention nothing concerning was heard. So...either I'm going deaf or there's no noise as my car is pretty quiet setup overall.

Took me maybe 40-45 minutes to do install and being carefull etc and I'm no mechanic so pretty simple.

REALLY hoping Raceseng does the covers they sneak peaked on FB those look like a very very nice compliment to the pulleys.

I liked them on Facebook, but I didn't notice the covers. I'll have to go back and find those later.

That'll be quite the accomplishment if they can make them significantly lighter.
