Hell yeah it's worth it. For just a little bit extra, you really do get a lot of features that are totally worth it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Mechanical key to get in the car and the remote can still be used to start the car(Need to hold the back side of remote near Start button for like 3 seconds....hold brake and or clutch to turn on car

Nope. I have the Premium myself. I have a few opinions on why....

1)The spoiler is stupid looking.

2)Heated seats? Man up.

3)Leather accents? Who cares?

4)Push-button start? Pointless.

5)Alarm system? Have a better one installed.

6)Fog Lights? More like "driving lights." So no.

7)Heated mirrors? Might as well add headlight wipers. Just as stupid.

8)Dual zone climate control? Passenger will be trying to figure out the stupid touch-screen radio. Hot/cold will not matter.

To be honest, save the $2000 for all these options. Buy a Premium and use the 2g's to make it yours.

I gave up on page two lol.. In my opinion, I'd love the push start... Not a fan of heated seats, I had them in my ex beetle in Illinois, and while they was kinda cool feature, they did make me feel uncomfortable for some reason, even on low.. So I never used them... My retrofit hid blows the stock Subaru out of the water as far as cut off, width, and light output.. I did the work myself so could save money there.. I swapped out my radio for the top of the line pioneer avic.. Again got it at cost because of the floods in New York, so saved a lot of money there.. I've had dual climate controls and never used them.. Everything stayed the same.. Spoiler is cool, and my fog lights will be retrofitted hid projectors for true fog lights instead of the "fog lights" that Subaru and Toyota are releasing.. More like just cool accessory lights is what they should call them..

In the end.. I got my FRS.. After all the stupid stuff the dealer added on, it cost as much as the limited.. But then when I bought it the Subaru dealerships had stupid mark ups on the BRZ... Right now I'd still get the FRS and do the same, but I want that push button start.. That's about all... Really it depends on what the person wants.. If all the nice bells and whistles draw you to that car then get it.. Might as well so you don't regret it later..

The AC is plenty strong enough for the little cabin space to cool off very quickly in the hottest days for me in the summer. I live in the south so I'm talking about 120+ temps inside the car after a day in the sun.

I wouldn't pick cloth over leather based on temperature. Sit on both and pick what feels better and more comfortable.
Not talking about the heat or transference. Talking about how the leather sticks to you in the heat, where cloths does not. We get 120 plus here regularly and days when it's really hot I take the wrx for cloth as it does not stick. Also the ac on the brz is okay at best.

I Don't know if you all paid cash for your CARS but if you finance the difference of the limited oppose to the premium, to me personally it made no sense to settle for less.

at 33$ extra a month or so for all that, yeah it was well worth it lol

Lets take a premium, add HIDS retrofitted, an AVIC navi, and etc etc... yeah you easily spent more than a limited up front. You can't finance those things. Just saying.

I learned my lesson on the value of a dollar when I was a kid. My mother used to check pricing on the grocery receipt after she got home and found errors. Got her money back. She grew up during the 1930s (1929 Wall Street Crash) and fifty cents meant a lot more then, let alone $35 dollars. Many people buy cars too frequently and over a forty year period it could mean another $100,000 in one's pocket by saving just a relatively small amount per month. Good luck. Never, Never, tell a car salesperson how much money you can spend per month, not that you did, but that is how the dealer sells that "extra 10%".

It seems like this has turned into a "Limited" hate thread. I am buying a BRZ in Limited Trim because that is how I want my car. To me as a consumer these modern conviences are well worth the relative small amount of cash. I have said this before and I'll say it again the engineers did a great job of providing numerous options to consumers for purchasing this platform. This allows a lot of different buyers to get into this car. For some this is a dream car, for some it is cute, the examples are endless. For me it gets good MPG, looks good, has a great history "Intial D fan", and beats the hell out of many of the other choices I had for a DD.

Please stop the hating and allow others to enjoy their cars...

-Nate

I have a premium, but I'm glad I got it over the limited. Yes it's only $2,000 more, but at that point after taxes and fees you're looking at close to $30,000 for a car - and at that price point even better cars are starting to look pretty enticing.

I went with the BRZ over the FR-S becuase it has factory navigation, HID's, better looking interior (IMO), better seat material, and blacked out headlights. For me the $1,000 or so difference between the FR-S and BRZ premium is definitely worth it, however $2,000 more for heated seats, leather, heated mirrors, and better climate control system just weren't worth it when you're trying to save as much money as possible.

Not to mention things we should all have anyway, but that you can only get with a Limited trim: door courtesy lights and vanity mirror lights.

Oh god what about smart key entry? That's AMAZING. You can even open the trunk just by pressing a button ON the trunk handle if you have the key in your pocket.
haha I used to work at nissan and some customers key lost syncronism with the car and he couldn't start it all weekend even tough the car had nothing wrong, just the key!!!

I wish I had NOT gotten the Sport-Tech / Limited trim. All the things I really wanted were already available in the base trim, but I upsold myself at the last minute. Could have saved almost $4000 in trim/taxes/fees and got a set of CE28s instead. =(
