I broke 200 on E85 the other day @P&L Motorsports. This wasn't even my top pull.
![]() My original baseline on this dyno was 160 to the wheel bone stock.

Very nice and torque curve to match! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
you seem to have broken the laws of physics at 4k and 4500 with that squiggly line

The Tune netted me 10hp and 3 tq more than my previous tuner did. If I dropped out both cats I would be getting a few more ponies.

There are a shitload of people running e85 tunes on these forums. Is it still a safe tune after about a year of testing?

Only been ONE(1) reported issue to my knowledge and nothing unquestionably confirmed. Lots of guys at the 15-20K mark without issues. The pro's can chime in on this, but I highly doubt we'll see problems in the long-run.

What was that issue? Was it resolved? How costly was it?

In case anyone is interested, here is my dyno chart from my old EJ25 Impreza with a before and after running a full exhaust (no tune). Also had a lightweight crank pulley and cobb intake during both runs.
![]() So the fact people are making almost 200whp with bolt ons and tuning is pretty impressive to me. |

Yes someone confirm please...I'm about to hunt down e85 stations tomorrow and if I can confirm they are close enough to be worth it I'm going to do it.

Oh and FYI the torque dip has always been a problem with Subaru motors. Its because of the intake manifold. If anyone is in dire need to eliminate it, run ITBs.

There are MANY members on this forum who have been running e85 tunes for 10,000+ miles and no significant failures/faults have arisen (except for the flex-fuel kit debacle but that's for another time). |
