If I don't like my JDL UEL headers for some odd reason when they come in the next month, I'll be getting this instead. Would love to see/hear a video since I have the Nameless axle back and sport cat over pipe so I could get an idea of what mine would sound like if I got this header.

I have been running/testing Nameless's First Gen Header that they developed back last year.. it is a catted version. I can say.. it rocked. its done well with making power.. but when Jason mentioned to me that they had a completely different design.. I asked him what the difference was... he said about 11 Wheel hp... hmmm ok.. you got me interested, Well I have in my possession and on the car as of today.. the 3rd gen STX legal Nameless header.. it went on with a hitch.. Smooth install.. No Issues what so ever.
the First gen Header was really good in the upper midrange and higher end of the rev-limit.. but the new STX Legal Header Brings that power curve to left.. by about 2500 rpm's.. Where the 1st gen was getting power basically around the 4k mark.. you can feel the new header 'working' around 2700 rpms or so.. and keeps making the power all the way up the rev-limit.. for reference my Redline has been bumped to 8k.. With the help of Nameless's ECUTEK tune. Which I am also helping them develop.
Quality and fitment have NEVER been an issue, and the new header doesn't disappoint.. Crisp and concise for sure. Bolted right up with no clearance issues, Fitment issues...didn't have to 'tweek' anything to get it to work.. just GOOD Quality US MADE manufacturing .. Jason has advised me that Production of this goody will commence in 3-4 weeks after I report back from SCCA Nationals the 1st week of Sept... You guys are in for a treat for sure. It makes power, depending on the Catback system you have.. should be no problem with sound.. For Reference, the 1st gen header with cat and overpipe with the 5in Axleback Exhaust was consistantly at 93 DB at 50ft... for all 6 of the national events I attended this year. I will post up here shortly some go-pro footage of the actual sound.. It makes the car sound almost Supercar-ish.. esp with an 8k Redline.. .. I havn't contributed much to this thread in the past because I was running Nameless's first gen header.. now with the new revised 3rd Gen STX header.. I can certainly contribute alot more.. have any questions... Let me or Jason Know.

As for melting the coolant hose, you'd have to work REAL hard to accomplish that. Even a small air gap in that are is going to provide enough thermal barrier to prevent that heat from reaching damaging levels.

You should also mount it in your car with windows up and with down so people that may want to buy it can have a real world, having it on their car perspective. The behind the car view is nice but only for people behind the car.

I was going to have it coated.. and Wrapped for my purposes.. But thats how I got it. Also.. look for an up-coming Review in Road and Track Magazine. Thats where it come from to me. So this particular header will have 'History'..

Sure OK but I don't understand the purpose of the wrap if heat soak is not a problem without it.

To me, its not so much about the header itself..its the surrounding components that I worry about. when you wrap or coat the header it will retain heat allowing it to perform its job more efficiently scavenging the exhaust thru the pipe and making the header itself more efficient.

I will let Jason fill in the Details of your question.

Here will be the sound-clip Vid once its done Processing..

I can't wait for my Nameless "complete" exhaust to finish and mate with my JDL UEL. It's going to be amazing.
