You'll need something like this http://www.motorcitybolton.com/5x110...-adapters.html

These adapters add at least 20mm thickness to your offset so if you wheels already poke, they'll poke even more.

Yeah 20mm will be good with DD don't know about track use on how they would hold up. What wheels did you get your hands on if you don't mind me asking?

Except the adapters you linked to are the wrong bolt pattern. 5x100 to 5x112 is what she needs.

But really, pushing a +35mm wheel out 20mm more will turn it into a +15 wheel. In order to fit in, you will need to slam the car on the frame and have at least 30 degrees of negative camber so you can eat through your 195 width stretched tires.

Don't run wheels that weren't originally meant to be run on your bolt pattern until you really understand what needs to happen to do it.

5x100 is the bolt circle for Subaru and small Toyotas.

I think 5x112 is the bolt pattern for VW. I'm not 100% sure, but chances are, you can sell them for more than you paid for on a GTI forum. Make a quick profit and sell them for $500 :happy0180:

18x8.5 +35 5HX112
The first thing you need to check is the back of your rim. Make sure its has hole to let stock stud to pass through, if you are going to use PCD changer.
The stock stud is 24mm long. The PCD changer is usually at least 15mm thickness.
So your new rim will need at least 9mm depth of hole on its back side of hub. BTW, the +20 offset is going to be ugly on our car.

20mm adapters will add to much poke.

You will need to get new wheel hubs. (About $800 plus labor).

Only option is to get 20mm adapters - that'll make ur offset to +15

IMHO, sell the rim/tyre combo and try to make some profit!

Sell them. I hate to sound like a ****, but it's not a steal when they don't fit.

no way lol!!! It can be easily converted to 5x100. Add some negative chambers to reduce the poke. I'm assuming you are on coils.
They are safe. No worries.

Or you could listen to others. Sell them for profit, then buy similar shoes which don't require converter.
