To be true to the topic...

I considered burning my old 06 Mustang GT, I thought of throwing a molotov cocktail at it, or have someone arson it... Other plans where to crash it against a pole or a concrete barrier... throwing it off a cliff sounded promising as well...

God I hated that car with a fucking passion...

Edit: Sometimes I had very vivid daydreams where I had a sledge hammer, and I was just smashing it to pieces as I giggled in pure joy...

I'm so glad I bought the FRS. Son't think I'd be anywhere near as happy driving anything else--though, I'd prolly have more money now, lol.

I drove the Countryman too. What was your impression of it?

I nearly pulled the trigger on a beautiful blue and black lightly used C6 Z06 for only $48k, was getting restless with the 135i BMW and was jealous of how easy it was to make power out of the LS motor.

Then we ended up changing our mind about moving, and bought a house here in NC. So my car buying itch never really went away, but I had to be financially 'mature'. Enter, the FR-S. Had been eyeing them on and off for a year or so anyways.

I think if the turbo beetle was RWD it would be sick, or at least an AWD model it would be a serious contender to everyone.

I came here for the Visconti jokes. Sadly disappointed. I almost bought this:

from NY, but got an FR-S from UT instead. I guess it really didn't matter what I got, I just needed to buy something from inconveniently far away.

My wife had already given her approval of my buying a Cayman. I bought the FR-S instead and I have to say I'm not sorry for my decision. I'm sure the Cayman would have been a thrill to own but for the money spent I couldn't ge happier. On top of that my future oil changes (and other maintenance items) will be a lot cheaper.
