REALLY? I bought the premium for the reasons stated. I found that even with Limited owners commenting there were some very helpful and worthwhile comments for the Forum.
Look in the mirror..

Not sure if its impressive to a girl or not but for the ladies...not having to dig through their purse to lock or unlock and start the car would be a worthwhile feature.

It is funny to read all these posts from limited owners telling us premium guys why we are poor or how push to start makes the limited worth it. I know why brzfan created this thread and I think there's a little sarcasm and humor that was lost in translation (look at the title of the thread for f sakes). That being said- I chose the premium because its more raw with that old school turn key

2. Spoiler kills the curves of the car imo
3. Never needed foglights, kills the simplicity of the front imo
4. Alcantara seats get too hot and I felt my body slipping around in the seats. (Tested a limited and my legs were sweating from the alcantara). Plus never needed seat heaters and I love the mesh cloth since it reminds me of my miata.
5. Auto climate controls never suited me. Left me too hot or too cold. In my 3-series BMW
I always ended up manually controlling the ac or heater anyways.

Like others, the only thing I really wanted was keyless entry. The push to start is cool, but I find myself listening to the radio while I'm waiting for a friend with my engine off. Keyless entry would be good though for when I'm carrying things or if my keys get lost in my pocket.
I had two people actually offer me to swap strait up for fog lights. I think if I get a third offer I'll probably just take it, lol. I do like the look w/o them though.

I have to agree, some of those purses get BIG. The keyless entry feature would be SUPER valuable with someone with a purse (or not) and a child that has to be strapped into the infant seat in the back seat area. Of course, this example is beyond the 'date' stage.

One thread is for Limited owners and one thread is for Premium owners. Simple as that. Comment on the question is welcome from anyone.

Instead, you made a new thread, asking people who made the same decision you did, a question you already know the answer to. Well of course it wasn't worth it, otherwise they would have bought a Limited, therefore unable to participate. And if they did participate and suggest it was worth it, they don't belong here and should go somewhere else

Its a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The only 'help' this provides is just a pat on the back for the decision you made when you signed the papers at the dealership.

It's obvious what this thread is for. I'm just calling it what it is.

I got the base premium with no other accessories. Everything else added on seem to there just for adding more to the price.

To me there was nothing on the Limited that justified spending more. The only thing I really wanted I fog lights and honestly after driving in the fog, the car is low enough it really doesn't need them. I would have liked to have heated seats but not a necessity. The keyless access looks cool but I don't see the need. Although I would have liked the security system. As horrid as the premium HVAC system looks I love the simplicity. I'm not a huge fan of the spoiler, I don't really understand why they didn't just make that an option across the board. I would have liked the leather seats if full leather. But I really have no regrets buying a premium. Plus they seem to be more rare than the Limiteds.

I own a dgm mt premium and did so for several reasons.

I originally saw the only benefits as the seats and dual climate control. The keyless entry didn't even cross my mind.

I found the premium seats a bit more snug and really liked the mesh insert in person.

I also don't see the purpose of dual climate control in a car this small.

I like the wingless look on both cars better, and a duckbill looks great in the frs.

I do wish I had key less entry. But I didn't want the push button.

I did like the fogs but didn't want the limited. Mine came w them anyways tho. I do like the look w/o

I think everyone has their reasons and things the did or didn't want. Also think the frs needs the gt86 lights. Huge improvement.

I really wanted the keyless entry for the reason of the base brz and frs have a basic Camry key and I always hated how bulky it is...

Also wanted the climate control I have never had it and kinda always wanted it, plus it looks more upscale.. But in the end the brz I was gonna get was 5k more than my frs.. And the brz premium was still 3k more than my frs.
And that's a lot to pay for keyless entry and climate control plus the other stuff

But the biggest reason I wanted a brz was for WRB! However I have really come to love my ultramarine, even with how fast it gets dirty

This.

Just leaving the keys in my pocket is well worth it when I'm carrying a laptop bag and another bag of clothes and or papers to a meeting for work. Keyless/push button is WAAAYYYY more convenient than I would have believed.

So true. It makes loading the car so much easier. I think it's a feature I'll want in my next car.
