Sheeeesh...this guy. It was for reference. It might not have the same impact as 9/11, but to us (or to the OP) who have the car it kinda is. Its not easy to see $25k+ burn right in front of you.

Hell! I could reference the day i got my FRS to the day i first jizzed in my pants!

I have come to this conclusion.. I would never let @Toma work on my car.. I feel sorry for those letting him work on for the electric supercharger kits.. Because hey, you guys are screwed, y'all are responsible for your cars not him..

Second, when so done blows a engine boosting it, it's always gotta pay to play and stuff, but car catches fire and it's a whole different ball game.. I don't see many blaming full blown or other turbo manufactures for destroyed engines, but they do seem to push blame on the installer.. In this case it's the vendor fault and not the installer??? I mean, I can't stand Visconti, I wouldn't mind seeing his business go down the drain for the asshole remarks he left to me and others in the threads of this forum..

To the OP, I'm sitting down here in Fairfield at Turn In Concepts for the week, helping with their new shop and doing some design work. I am seriously interested in what your insurance will do with the car. If you know anything about Turn In Concepts, or myself, you'll probably understand why I'm asking this
Please let me know

I hope that insurance is able to help you out with what seems like a horrible situation.

Kindly,
Micah

Fact is, visconti did supply the wrong ID hoses in the FF kit. which would lead to a faulty install coz it didnt seal completely.

Although this thread has gone viral with the fact that Visconti is trying to make a business out of a situation with that "upgraded safety kit" and how he treats his customers unfairly; I do believe this thread is useful for the community.

Why I say that? Well, it opens up other vendors eyes and tells them that Quality Control for the sake of safety absolutely should not be overlooked. Was the fire caused by the FF kit? We do not know, but the facts are clear that the kit has a defect and Visconti countered that by offering a "fix" for a cost... Which IMHO, should have been a free courtesy kit for those who already got his FF setup...

Not trying to pick sides here but what I had to say was based on what has been presented by customer feedbacks. I do support local sponsored vendors but if the vendor does not support their paying customers/friendly members and own up to the fact that their product is faulty, I have absolutely no respect for them nor would I ever trust them..
