I believe this is the plug'n'play wiring harness. It is optional and thusly not displayed on the main picture of the kit.

I assume that's like the harness used by aftermarket stereo decks in cars, if you've ever done one of those installs. You connect the harness to the stock ECU connector and splice the Flex Fuel wiring into that harness, so you don't have to splice directly into the stock ECU wiring.?

That harness is also an extra $200+. No thanks.

@

let me quote myself quoting you to remind you how useless your logic is,

In about 2 more posts from you the community will be fully convinced you are either loaning JV your login credentials, or you are in debt to him.

You didn't even look at the kit he was selling or inform yourself of the facts regarding the asshat you came to defend FAIL

•Don't bite off more than you can chew, modding a car is not a joke or to be taken lightly. Especially OIL or FUEL or ELECTRICAL systems.

Tell JV, When you make a product for one (1) application and supply a "kit" and call your self a "professional" you get to charge extra because alot of the risk is seemingly mitigated by having a professional designed kit. he certainly overcharged...where is the professional...anything???

•Aftermarket parts and kits are just that, and do not go through all the rigorous OEM type design, modeling and testing, nor do most of them employ hundreds of engineers like the OEM's do, and spend hundreds of thousands of man hours on their stuff.

So you are telling me if you are tuning a car and you replace a fuel hose or oil hose on a customers car, thhey should step in and verify your work for you while you're doing it because you aren't capable of picking the right hose for the purpose? You do realize that's what happened here or is this back to #1 don't jump to conclusions because you are misinformed?

•Ultimately, you, the owner, is responsible for your car.

...even while it is in a "tuner's" hands and you haven't worked on it yourself and it's that tuner's parts that are freshly installed.

Yesterday i thought you were open-minded and insightful, Today sir you smell like an idiot and a bad businessman, just back away from this mess, you are on the wrong side of every line here.

It is the plug/play version of the ECU harness - and the 200 is useful because you are not splicing wires for this to function, you are physically cutting up the stock ECU harness otherwise. This is replacing the EVAP sensor signal into the ECU, splicing into it will not properly modify the voltage for it to function correctly.

This is correct, and even after adding in the $175 to make the harness a clean install, it is still cheaper than the competition's. Without the whole issue generating 99% of the posts in this thread... $175 sounds fine to me to not have to molest my stock wiring.

Oh right, new harness source. Only $90, not 175. My mistake. The kit was still more affordable then competition though, even at the 175 mark haha

You also have tuners working on the platform for a while and they've got a good following too. As for the GC's SFR and BTRcc both sell tunes that include a new ecu, express posted, in the $850 range...
There's only two tuners though, with Tom over on FF and Cobb being on FJ. And they don't have the best history. It took them 2 years to come out with tunes for the Focus base engine!

They need an Ecutek tuner. The 2.0L TIVCT is already a factory flexfuel and the 2.0L ecoboost would be a good platform for a flexfuel kit. Now, Focus guys are notoriously cheap. But the community is fairly large and there are people willing to pay for a good tuning option.

They left over "vending issues." They were advertising without being a vendor. We had a thread about it a couple months ago. They're not banned, but they are not coming back.

I would not trust them to do a flexfuel kit. They don't know Ethanol.

Fa20club sells most of their stuff to locals. I dunno why so many here bought Visconti's kit when the fa20club kit was out 5 months earlier for hundreds less.

Ahh, I was thinking more towards the ST side, Torrie w/ Unleashed Performance using the SCT and FSWerks with Cobb and SCT solutions. I didn't even know there were tunes for the non turbo engines :p whoops.

FA20Club is not nearly as aggressive on the advertising front. They seem to let their products speak for themselves. I wasn't aware any kit other than Visconti's was available until recently. :\

For all of you calling this a "tragedy", comparing it to 9/11 (yes, someone said it) saying "sorry for your loss" and offering "condolences" ... please, get a grip. It sucks, yes. It's a shitty siutation, yes. It could have been worse, yes. A car was destroyed and no one was injured. Does this qualify as a tragedy? No.

Keep it in perspective ffs.

The attachment is just because I wanted to be a part of the silliness, I can't be the only one who thought of Beavis..
