Probably b/c you don't ever have sun in your face whenever you drive. Driving down I-10 eastbound every morning M-F, I constantly use my visor. Makes perfect sense to me.

True, you and others use it significantly more than I do, but does that warrant a $200 upgrade to add absolutely no extra functionality and only make the visors look a bit nicer? Genuinely curious.

I am all for visor upgrades and customization or even time-intensive DIYs like Jimp's since those become a product of your own work and customization, but throwing $200+ at it is just dubious to me. Then again, I could see someone who gets the JPM visors also having a number of other coachworks parts, none of which I'd go for. Maybe I just don't have enough disposable income.

My bad, I guess I misinterpreted your expensive handbag analogy. When you said it was like a girl buying an expensive hand bag just to hang up in the closet to admire, I took that to mean that he would never use the expensive visor.

Now if you compared the expensive bag and expensive visor as both being "hey look what I got" status symbols, then I would have related better!

I was planning to put the Perrin's "Warning!" sticker on top of it - at least it has funny language in it like "This vehicle has been modified and require special driving skills - do not attempt to drive it unless you are able etc..." But unfortunately it's smaller than the stock one and does not cover it fully...

What I did was buy a 6"x6" piece of vinyl from my local art supply store, cut it in half and glued it over the warning.

There's a thread here of a member who covered his in a nice microfiber cloth, it walked through how to split the visor to tuck the fabric edges inside.

The coachworks ones look classy but do you take your visors off and send them to them for fitting? As posted above I use mine everyday so that's just weird...plus what if they don't send them back. DIY ftw.

Yeah, it's a bit botched. Same with the Gross weight. 1670kg is like 3600lb's.

That's sticker is from Australia for sure: model name just "86", power in kilowatts and the RON petrol octane number (google it if want more details) - the one people use everywhere in the world except for the US and Canada You use so called AKI. RON 98 = 93-94 AKI.

Gross weight is maximum allowed weight of the vehicle if you load it with 4 fat people and some stuff in the trunk. Exceeding it is sort of illegal.

You wouldn't happen to have pictures of how that turned out, would you? I tried to get the stickers off with little success, and that sounds like it might be a decent alternative to re-wrapping them.
