honestly it's a good point. I don't know, I trust Crawford's reputation? I know I haven't read as much as I should have in those threads. I have some catching up to do...

He has one big goal in this thread,

Don't pay attention, he's dying for it.

Well that IS retarded, and anyone that actually used that braided "fabric" jacket hose like that is also retarded.

Been doing this a long time. First set of headers I bought for my Mustang... didn't fit, had to hack up my exhaust.

My first Supercharger kit back in like 1991 didn't fit, apparently American manufacturers assumed all Mustang came with AC lol

It's the nature of modding your car. And if you buy something, don't understand it, seems wrong, doesn't fit, has a loose fitting FUEL hose.... make it right, or get someone to help you that can.

IF Vicsonti supplied the braided fabric hose pictured on left, and suggested any amateur can "do it", That's retarded, and instructed you to push it over a factory metal line and just hose clamp it, I suggest a phone call to earls or Russel or whomever made that hose and see what they think about the idea. lmao

But, I see compression fittings and a pipe cutter in the kit pics.... so that's the upgraded kit?

That is the REVISED kit that acknowledged the leak issue we have been talking about all the time and for which you have to shell out cash, instead of being a free upgrade for the fuck up....

How many more maps do you need to understand? Do you need it in different colors for clarity?

I wouldn't be surprised, again I'm clearly not in the know but from what I've read it seems that Visconti's tunes are everywhere and that he specializes in creating tunes for what ever the customer has: any exhaust and header combination with anyone's FI setups (Vortex, Innovate, AVO and others), with and without FF. Between our IM back and fourth and what I read he seems to have maps figured out for everything.

A few goals in my posts.

•Don't jump to conclusions without all evidence. ie, cause of fire.
•Don't bite off more than you can chew, modding a car is not a joke or to be taken lightly. Especially OIL or FUEL or ELECTRICAL systems.
•Aftermarket parts and kits are just that, and do not go through all the rigorous OEM type design, modeling and testing, nor do most of them employ hundreds of engineers like the OEM's do, and spend hundreds of thousands of man hours on their stuff.
•Ultimately, you, the owner, is responsible for your car.

Just simple, "well known" facts.

Well, if you only read vendor threads and that is your only source of information the above post is what you would know.

Read customer experience threads, issues threads etc along with vendor threads to get the whole picture.

There is this awesome feature I have forgotten to use more often on this forum. It's called "add to ignore user list."

I think I will have a capped list soon.
