I ended up waiting for the updated hardware instead of using just the hose.
I put the upgrade fittings on and have not had any leaks for the 4 days ive had it on.

From what ive seen, some people have been slicing the stock hose off and gouging into the coating of the fuel line. That would definitely spring a leak.

I took it upon myself to know what I am putting into MY car. I would not go with the set it and forget it approach.

Cobrabyte's car had a gouge on the metal barb yet he didn't have a leak. My hard line was pristine yet I had a full on leak until I double clamped the supplied hose (on both ends mind you, John/Rich doesn't have time for non US customers).

In my opinion, a link to this thread should be posted on every one of his threads. Too many of his followers will never read this thread. No way would I ever trust JV with my stuff.
A few of John's customers here had issues with bricked ECUs last fall. John was extremely responsive and had each customer ship (at his expense) the ECUs back to him to get fixed. All issues were taken care of and he assumed full responsibility. I'm not a fan of JV customer service or social skills but some folks need to keep things in perspective.

That's great but the problem is why isn't he doing the same with the FF kit when there's obviously issues with it? Why charge more for safety "upgrades" and improvements that'll allow him to make even more money down the line?

He may have been the almighty Visconti back in 2012 but even the mighty can trip and fall.
