Well... the cause of the fire has been found. It was oil dripping from a catch can.

John Visconti IS completely awful. I had a small run-in with him almost a year ago while we were trying to discuss tuning options for Ecutek on my car. Since his EXTREME un-professionalism we swapped over to ProEFI and then eventually made the move to Ecutek, but D3PE doing ALL tuning as they are official with Ecutek now. Thankfully bypassing John's garbage.

Safe to say that D3PE and Ecutek (minus John) has my car running damn near perfect. No cam sprocket issues and no DI issues either, fixing the issue before it was an issue.

I will say that ONE time we had an issue with my car, and D3PE generously offered to pay for the parts and labor to get it fixed. Even though I had signed the agreement that did not require them to pay for anything if something were to go wrong.

Sorry about your car and I hope you can get it resolved, the right way. I hope luck starts to sway in your favor soon.
