the incentive is the intrinsic value of not being associated with those low class Scion owners.

I'm sorry, I'm not so familiar with people. What exactly is a "low class Scion owner"? Sounds like they should be avoided, but why?

I drove the 2011 - I thought it was a fantastic car. Felt great, did not feel like a large car at all, and seemed like a heck of a bargain at $22k. This new motor is amazing; should have gobs of torque and excellent fuel economy. I think they look sexy in person. Don't know how a person can love the BRZ but hate the Genesis... they are practically sisters.

People never cease to amaze how stupid they are. When did the US fall into "class war" again?

This!!!

It may have a nice power bump...but the front end sucks, the transmission sucks, the interior sucks....uhm, yeah the car sucks. Theres too many cons for me to really want to buy it

Bingo
You can go buy a MY 2013 FR-S/BRZ, Genesis Coupe 2.0T, Mustang V6 and be very happy with your choice. Go back to 2009, two of those didn't exist and the other was rubbish.

The new styling of the Hyundai is a bit busy, but it wouldn't put me off buying one if the test drive proved its competence and pace.

Front end swaps will be popular on the 2013 GenCoupe, that's for sure.

Not everyone dislikes the front end, it won't be as popular as you think. Most everyone I've shown the 2013 GC to likes the new look, myself included.

Everyone I've shown it too says, "Pick up a used 2011 ftw."

I guess it's just a regional thing, or maybe the types of people we hang around have different taste. I don't think the 2013 looks ugly, I just think there are going to be a large enough group of people that dislike it to warrant front end swaps.

If they nailed the front end with the refresh I would have probably ended up with one this year... but they didn't. I HATE those hood scoops, I would feel so embarrassed to have those on my car - they look like tack on hood scoops. Looking like BRZ for me.
