Damn I knew it was going to be June...the BRZ might be a bit early...but don't count on it...if the first 86 FR-S are coming in June...

But hey that is still spring...

SO the will turn into a Its a WIN-WIN situation for me.
I don't see why it wouldn't sell that fast. There are only going to be 6-7000 of them. The Civic Si has probably double that amount and they can't keep them on the lot at MSRP.

If dealers only get 1 or 2 per month of course it will sell fast.

I agree...so they got 3400 people to sign up....and they are going to probably make at best 7000 cars a year for all 3 models (BRZ/FR-S/86) world wide...could be more...up to 10,000 but that number is pushing it.

These cars won't be sitting on the lot, at least in the first model year.

And the resale value is going to be good on them. Have y'all checked Scions and Subaru's lately for resale value? It's pretty good.

From KBB.com using 90210 Zip code and all cars in excellent condition. Using trade in values....

Scion
A 2011 Scion tC with 6 speed manual and 15k miles...trade in value is $16,819

The FR-S should have trade in values as good or better than the tC.

Subaru
A 2011 Subaru WRX with 15K miles...trade in value is $24,241

They have 2 choices, right?
  • June 8 (8/6 in Rest of World)
  • August 6 (8/6 in USA)

Sounds like June is the better option.
