Edited rear taillights?

Hey so I remember a lot of people were upset about the rear taillights, but I haven't seen any photoshops or anything yet so I guess I'll start a thread.

This was pretty shabby, done in paint, but my idea is basically to remove the "notch" off the trunk, and then curve the red part around the side and remove the silver crap, and then make it a little thinner. Gives it the Mercedes look sorta.


I'll admit though, I'd totally be up for ANY of the concept lights. The earlier BRZ concept with squareish lights looked better than what we have now, and the semicircular Subaru one looked bad, but better than what it is now.

derp forgot about that thread sorry...but this one has a better title, maybe if a mod notices they can switch.

@Snoopy I like that idea, but the white parts are a bit thin for my liking. I hope there is some attractive aftermarket replacement housing or they change the lights in an update. The part that bothers me the most about these lights is that they cut into the trunk opening, that just seems SO retarded IMO. Also they're too..."sharp edged", it looks really cheap to me. I didn't draw it into mine as I don't have a side profile, but if it were me I would have the lights follow the curve of the body around to the rear end. I suspect that is also slightly better for aero drag as what it is now is just a plastic block that is cut off at 90 degrees :P They need a lesson from Hyundai in car rear ends :P
