Polishing the car, need advise on what to do with the clear bra.

Unlike the other thread, I have a factory clear bra on the hood and mirrors only (dumb factory option IMHO) and im not sure if I should remove it before polishing/sealing or leave it on. I am unsure of the condition of the paint under the bra, but it was installed at the time of delivery.

Will the bra yellow with time like every other one on the market? Is it alright to use sealant on the bra? can a bra be polished??

Im tackling the car with meguairs ultimate compound, meguiars ultimate polish, klasse AIO, and klasse sealant.

any suggestions on a plan of attack for the bra is much appreciated.

I feel sorry for people that think these things are really "factory" options...

Tint, clear bra, fabric protection, paint coatings, etc are almost never real factory options... they are dealer profit options.

If you want to know what are the actual options, go to the factory website (i.e. scion, subaru, toyota) and check.

As for how to care for clear bra, I have no idea sorry.

You didn't say what kind it is, but I know the documentation for the 3M one says not to use anything abrasive on it. It's protecting your paint way more than anything you're going to be putting on, so I really don't see why you'd even consider taking it off.

paint correction / transparency. i wasnt planning on using the compound on it, but i figured the polish would help hide it against the rest of the hood.

im assuming 3m. i believe it is what was noted on the window sticker
