Noticed pretty big differences. Smoother and pulls really hard up too. Honestly viscontis is beefier down low but I'd take the harder pull from fa20club. Fa20 seems more responsive too and the popping that is gone w fa20. Tunes are free for updates for the first six months so I've been told where Visconti is free forever

I honestly think the gains you will see for both (considering only bolt on upgrades to the engine, no FI), will be similar. The BIG difference here is customer service. To boot, it will cost you less to have better customer service... Go figure!

It would be great to be able to afford both. I am just extremely unhappy after 6 runs on a dyno doing data logs to get my tuner to give me really good tune results, Im only coming out with 8whp gains, even with adding Octane Booster to try match your 93.
8 months now of back and forth to dynos and waiting 3 weeks a shot to get response is wearing me and my wallet down. i am not one to complain, believe me we have to put up with worse service in Africa, but when a tune costs equivalent to an ave man's 2 months salary here in Africa, I surely expect a little effort to make me a happy customer. With all the complaints on this thread, one would expect the Visconti Group to sit up and take note to remedy the problems. My opinion from a frustrated non performing 86 African, with the Worlds Best Tune.

Are we comparing the FA20 club tune to Viscontis new 1.14 stage 2 tune? Because I have his new stage 2 tune for cars running a header, and it pulls much much harder up top than his old tune. It feels just as strong has his old E85 tune I have.

I have run 48 dyno runs from base tune to v1.14 stage 2 and my net gains from the tunes has been 8whp. Is 8 whp deemed acceptable?...... |

Coming from his old vortech tune to his new 1.06 tune there was a difference that the butt dyno could feel.

So I flashed the V1.14b4 E85 tune yesterday. There is a very noticable difference between the V1.11 E85.
I know this is aalmost a cliche now as this phrase has been tossed around alot without dyno results, but on a basically all stock car with this tune (apexi filter and light weight rims), the torque dip is basically gone. between these two tunes the very noticable torque dip with V1.11 went from 3500rpm to 4500rpm. now with the V1.14b4 tune the torque dip feels completely gone. At worst it is a torque plateau. and best of all it feels like this only between 3500rpm and 4000rpm. a full 500rpm shorter. can anyone else attest to these results? have any of you experienced the same results? or better yet, have a dyno graph of this tune? @Visconti thanks |

Got my first tune. Happy customer, guess I'll drive it for a week and send in some logs as I already installed my intake.
Thanks again!

My MAF with Visconti only read 200g/s of air flow at redline, and looking at the variable valve timing, they are all just set to a fixed number across the rpm range. My MAF with FA20 reads 255g/s of air flow at redline and watching the VVT makes sense. I honestly think either something is wrong with John's base tune, or mine isn't correct. But apparently actually looking at customers logs and providing updates that we're the main reason why I bought through him is too much to ask. |
