Request: Filling in holes from dealer license plate bracket?

Has anyone found out how to fill the holes left from the dealers mounting bracket for the front license plate?

You can buy those bumper "nipples", and get them color matched and just plug them into the holes. Doesn't look as good as no holes, but it's something at least. I haven't gotten a chance to check those out yet for mine yet though

A new bumper is relatively inexpensive.

I got a quote for a new BRZ front bumper skin + paint match at a VA Beach body shop (Stock or Modified). Bumper skin was about $300, paint match was another $500.

Would it be dangerous to just fill the hole with black sticky puddy? Something like this Extruded Butyl Rope for sound deadening (http://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/111...tyl_Rope.jpg)?

the grille does come off, it has some clips. Some stupid dealers incorrectly drilled into the painted part of the bumper, as opposed to the correct way of drilling only into the grille.

My dealership made a mistake and drill the holes as well. They tried to fix it, and suggested repaint the whole bumper, which I am not confidence about since it is a pearl white colour. Any thing I could fix other than the bumper plugs??

let them paint it, if it does not look right ... tell them to do it again, or order you a new bumper cover
