Minor Plastidip on 86 - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hey Guys,

Did some minor plastidip over the weekend due to slight boredom lol. Did the front lip, side vent/fender and around the headlights to offset the general chromyness (is that a word?) in that area. I was kinda on the fence about the dip around the headlights but its growing on me. Let me know what you guys think. I apologize for the glare in the pics. Damn also just realized I forgot to blur out my license plates...meh.

Looks good though especially around the headlight. Haven't seen that one yet.

Thanks dude, part of the reason I decided to dip the front lip is I had some annoying rock chips there so...and it turned out pretty good.

No it wasn't hard at all, it didn't require jacking the car up or anything, just crouched way over to get the area underneath the front lip. Used 3 heavy coats with hardly any drying time and while still wet peeled the masking tape off before it could bond to get the nice clean line of separation.
