Fair point. I guess that makes me a bit of an old fart in this crowd. You are right though. Teenage infatuations may be that but you never seem to forget it when it comes to cars. We all seem to have the biggest soft spot for cars that were both new and cool when we were teenagers.

I just pray that this car live up to expectations.

^I bought an old 1989 Honda Prelude Si 4WS a couple years back when I needed a temporary car for a year. I definitely looked at it with rose coloured glasses and reliving my yoof... right down to the tape deck and tunes that were 20+ years old, lol.

Had I not been a teenager when that came out, I probably would have passed on it and bought something equally cheap, but newer and in better nick.

lol 2001 Saturn SC1... hoping to get $1000 for in on the trade in. Funny the BRZ has similar dimensions but it will feel 10000x better. The extra 100hp should do so good as well

I'm probably going to trade in my '05 Focus ZX3 SES on it. According to Kelley Blue Book and NADA I should be able to trade it in for almost $6,000. Although, if I can set it up to sell it directly to someone else on the exact day I get my FR-S, I should be able to get just over $7,000 out of it. That would be sweet. Focus only has 40,xxx miles on it, too, so it's still got a lot of life left in it.

Keeping my wrxd as a everyday car and keeping my greenwagon classic forever as I've had it since new 12 years ago

The BRZ will look good in my subaru fleet as the 350z left us a year ago

my '98 camaro z28.
if i dont light it on fire before then.
i've had it for a year and cant stand it anymore. i was trying to do the patriotic thing "buy american" and i admit, the V8 sounds awesome and its wicked fast. beyond that, i hate it.

if i dont get the FR-S im getting rid of the camaro anyway for a daily honda fit and a track duty ae86.

I'll be selling my 2002 WRX Wagon to pick up a Scion FR-S. I was anticipating buying the Subaru, but I won the dinky little contest to be one of the 86. Go figure.

Lightly modded 2011 Audi A1 (great to own, not to drive) for a GT86.
