From Az, and I LOVE this car. Everytime I get in I cant believe its my car! My last car was a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 with a sport muffler welded on to the stock pipes so this is quite the step up for me. So far Ive done 18 inch Enkie Raijin wheels on Hankook Evo V12's 255/35/18, H&R Super Sport springs and a Perrin resonated catback exhaust. I plan on doing some sort of forced induction next. Leave a comment if you like!

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a BRZ and looking for a little input on what I should do. I'm not in huge rush to pick up a new car, however with the 2014's a few months away I thought it would be a good time to try to pick up a 2013 on the cheap.

I visited my local dealer today, and they had a manual available in both trims. Unfortunately, they didn't have any WRB's, which is my top color with SWP a distant second. They were really trying to push off Premium CSB they had on the lot, sticker price of $28,300. I countered at $27k given that the 2013 MY has been around since approximately the mesozoic era. They very reluctantly agreed to that price. Since they didn't have WRB/SWP, they said they could try to locate one from another dealer provided I supply a $500 deposit.

I would greatly appreciate some input as to whether or not this is a solid offer. I could also order a 2014 at MSRP.

Hi guys, probably time to stop lurking - I'm Sciby from Australia and yesterday, I put a deposit down to order a (my?) BRZ. I ordered it with reversing sensors and floor mats, in WR blue - I had some friends who kept hinting at the white, but really, it had to be rally blue. Didn't get much else from the option list - most of it is overpriced for what it is. It's cheaper to get the parts and fit them yourself.

Anyway, it should be interesting - I haven't owned a car for almost six years. 3.5 years of that was thanks to living in Osaka where owning a car was just a bit too much of an expensive proposition with parking space rental costs, etc, and the last couple of years, I've worked close to home, so no real need.

Before that, I had an aqua blue R33 Skyline GTS25t. That was about 270kw at the engine, so going to something with just over half that power is going to be interesting, but the test drives I took were great, never felt short on power. Case in point - I originally took an 86 GT (budget-minded, no frills version for Aus market) for a test drive and got a speeding ticket taking it for a fang through a nearby mountain range. -_- The dealership thought it was great though, as a selling point.

Anyway, nice to meet y'all.

Howdily!

Howdy... New-ish owner of a silver Limited 6MT. Never drove a stick before, but figured I was getting old and it was time to learn, so I can teach the stepdaughter how to toe-heel in a few years.

Be a long intro, but

Alright, so my name is Danny. I am 22 and I just traded my 2010 Chevrolet Silverado with a Rough Country 7.5" lift and 325/60/20s (35s) in for a Subaru BRZ Limited. I got $27,500 for the truck. The car was $29,xxx and I got my APR down to 1.84%. I put roughly $8000 on the car and my payments are around $380 a month. The car had 13 miles when I picked it up and now has 66 miles. This is my first manual car. I attempted to drive it home, but I stalled once, but I spun the tires more than everything. So, I'll be practicing around the subdivision tomorrow. The color is Satin White Pearl.

Half the reason why I traded 11mpg was killing me. Learning in this car I'm up to 23, so A lot better which is worth it.

I'm up to 180 miles now and I'm still shaky at the starts though, but learning.

Okay, for pics

Here is my old truck

The car

Smile Hello

I can finally say that I am the proud owner of a DGM 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited 6MT. I had a GBS on order but could not wait any longer as summer passes by so I pulled the trigger on a DGM yesterday. Still learning the ins and outs of driving a stick but I managed to get it home. I'm coming from an 09 Mazda 3 2.0 so the increase in HP is refreshing.

Hello everyone, first post here, but have been lurking for a while. Bought my WRB BRZ Limited yesterday, replacing my 2010 Golf TDI (very very not stock). At 200hp this car has about 15 more hp than my TDI, but my TDI was putting out around 330tq. I'll miss that. But overall I am enjoying the BRZ thus far.

Talking

This'd be the first Car forum I have joined, and for good reason. It's a great forum with lots of interested parties!

I've been waiting to purchase my first car, and it was worth waiting months and months and finally deciding on the WRB Limited BRZ with those sexy chrome fins, fancy rear view mirror, trunk guard, etc etc... I bought the fully loaded BRZ from Austin Subaru for about $31,000. I think thats fair.

That said, im about 700 mi into ownership. for now I only drive it back and forth to work as I know it'll be safe. [EDIT] Of course, I drive it all of the Austin Hill country too, 2222, 620, 360, Mt Bonnell. I took it to 6th street in Austin once... Came back to find my right side passanger mirror was stolen (just the mirror, not the housing)... f*ckers. Thats Austin for you... I'll let my Acura RSX-S take the beating in those sketchy places.

Hello Everyone!
I have been a lurker here for a few months while I have been shopping around and trying to find out if I really wanted to get this car. This was the first new car that I have purchased, and I wanted to be sure that it was exactly what I wanted. I have lusted after the WRB Limited MT since I heard about it, but I still shopped quite a bit.
As I got my money together I found one that would be delivered to a dealership about 2 hours away from me in Beaumont, Texas at JK Subaru. I got the call saying it had arrived and made the drive with 2 friends in my trade. There was a little hiccup in the purchase related to my trade in, but I still got the price I wanted, and drove away that night. I got her with 8 miles on the odometer, and had 120 on it when I parked it.

I love this forum already and am looking forward to giving my feedback on the car as well!

This is exactly how she looked when I first saw her.
