I like the SARB065 quite a bit:

Still, for that price I could get 2 or more budget watches and I have a lot of watches I want to buy so...

Gotta start somewhere:

Take apart. Put back together. Still works. Victory.

Hands and dial are next to figure out.

Nothing special or fancy, but here's mine. Lazy to take my own photos so I just grabbed some from the net.

This picture is slightly different from my actual watch... Mine is the same Momentum M1 Deep 6, but the CN Series is 00001

Vintage is the only way you'll get that style and good quality for under $300.

Edit:

This is just under $90 on Amazon. But if its bracelet is like my 5's was, you'll want to replace it.

You can get that sort of style for 300 certainly...

What's the width? My Seagull has a 20mm width bracelet that's pretty good quality (much better than that Swatch POS that ripped itself clean off thanks to the paper thin metal). I like Chinese watches a lot because they have nice classic, conservative designs. I wouldn't even feel like a douchebag wearing a gold cased version of some models.

Bracelet width or case?

Case is 37mm according to various online sources, lug-lug width not sure but my 5 is 18mm. I think mine is 37mm case, too.

It's the thin stamped folding clasp that feels like crap. Doesn't feel super secure. I put a leather rally strap with a stainless deployant on mine.

Bracelet. Darn, 18mm. My bracelet is super awesome, the clasp is solid, the ends are nice machined pieces, none of that stamped crap. Case is 40mm, but I just bought the M182SK which is 38mmx9mm. Got a brown and black strap with it to mix and match my bands when I feel like it.

Well, good luck with this one. Might want to leave it off when you hit the piano.

Ahhh...gotcha. I thought you were talking about getting a Patek; not something that looks like that Patek, which would be a bit more expensive than 300 bones.

Yup, at 135 bucks (with a 20 dollar movement) this one is pretty much not even worth sending to the factory for repair...better keep it in good shape lolol.
