Yes, it's true. The article is satire. I'd never heard of Duffle Blog when I started reading it though, so I had no idea what I was about to read wasn't completely serious. I caught on before finishing, but man... it got me good. Even when I thought it was serious I was wiping tears from my eyes. I hadn't read a satirical political article that good since that old Axis of Evil one from like... 2002 or so. Not that I go looking for them, though.

That goes for you too.
Slap for you just saying military men and women aren making you bleed out anything because if you had any common sense military men and women do pay taxes go get and education. Only time that money is tax free is when there dying for you in afghanistan or iraq you dont know anything about bleeding out your one of those that has never had blood on there hands and we don't do it for you we do it for the people doesnt matter if there like you or good people who do care and are nice enough to pick up the tab even though we can pay for it, its just a simple thanks from the people that we do our job for.

Ahhh, we can only hope. I could just see some washed up 30 year old guy going to his local VA, walking around asking everyone for help applying for Near-Veteran benefits hahahaha!

"I was even going to go to MEPS, but then my friends invited me camping that same weekend and it simply didn't work out. My hair hurts, can I get disability pay?"

You know I could probably tolerate those guys, the ones I can't stand are the ones that try to impersonate military when they A) were never in the service or B) never did the things they claim. I wish that the stolen valor act had been written more clearly to prevent anyone from doing that.

Oh Jeebus...are you for real? That's quite a stream of consciousness you let loose there! Not to mention a sense of entitlement with a hint of a superiority complex. Killing people doesn't make someone a hero nor does it mean they deserve any accolades.

Btw, using "common sense" as tactic in a debate is a crutch for people that can't rationalize nor articulate their positions. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since it's been pointed out that The Duffel Blog is a satire site and that people making responses like yours are being trolled like mofos. Unbunch those panties of yours and use your brains next time instead of knee-jerking about something you clearly didn't comprehend. This is almost as bad as people that take The Onion seriously and/or think that The Colbert Report is some sort of meta-satire.

Seems like some people can't follow the rules and not talk about politics either.

"Fuck" isn't filtered by the forum software and your post is ironic as fuck since you seem to have the inability to compose a coherent sentence and use proper punctuation. If you're going to call someone a dumb fuck, maybe you should learn to express yourself by writing above a third grade level.

Your post should look like this:
Quote:
Didn't mean enemy blood, dumb fuck; meant of your buddies' to the left and right of you.
The semicolon is personal preference as you can substitute it with ellipses or even start a new sentence.

I'm glad to have taught you something today. Maybe you should take advantage of the GI Bill that my tax dollars pay for to get yourself a better education instead of wasting time and money on modding your car. You might even learn the proper usage and meaning of irony and satire while your at it!

A large majority of the posts on that site are fake. They also posted articles not too long ago saying that soon, all maried soldiers would either have to get divorced, or be separated from active duty service. They also said that soon, we were going to have to pay a fee to get onto post everyday.

Take it with a grain a salt.

Honestly, even if it were true, I wouldn't care. There's so much more jacked up shit going on within the military and the government that this isn't even worthy of being "news"
